In tweets towards the beginning of today, Arvind Kejriwal said cricketer-turned-government official Navjot Singh Sidhu has “not put any pre-condition” on joining the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and needs time to think. The laughter king Sidhu ji, who opened up to the world a month ago about his tension against the BJP, his party of 12 years, has been in converses with AAP in front of the elections in Punjab one year from now. Opening up about the arrangements for the first time, Arvind Kejriwal said it was his “duty” to clear up his position on the previous cricketer. Here are the tweets from Kejriwal ji –

AAP apparently didn’t agree to any of the request and demanded that Mr Sidhu needs to settle for star campaigner to begin with and work his way up. Sources revealed that the Congress is prepared to look at the Deputy Chief Minister for Mr Sidhu, following a few years.

The party can likewise offer the Amritsar Lok Sabha seat. Mr Sidhu has been annoyed with the BJP since it fielded Finance Minister Arun Jaitley rather than him in 2014 from the voting public that he had held for a long time. The Congress now holds the seat as Mr Jaitley lost to the party’s Punjab boss Amrinder Singh. Stay tuned for further updates.
