Today marks the first day of the ODI Asia Cup’s comeback since 2018. India had defeated Bangladesh in the tournament’s final at the time, and today’s opening match in Multan will pit Pakistan versus Nepal.
On September 2 at Pallekele, Team India will begin their campaign against their bitter rivals Pakistan. Nepal will be eager to make a mark in the games against Pakistan and India since they are participating in the championship for the first time. Group A is made up of these three teams, while Group B is made up of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan.
According to the format, starting on September 6, the best two teams from each group advance to the Super Fours stage. Unless Nepal surprises one of the teams in the group stage, India and Pakistan’s explosive match will play place on September 10 as scheduled.
A live broadcast of the Asia Cup 2023 will be available in India on the Star Sports network. Additionally, Disney + Hotstar will offer live streaming of the competition. In India, maybe, live streaming would be cost-free for smartphone users.
