ATM Withdrawal Limit Raised To Rs 10,000 Per ATM From Today

The withdrawal limit from ATM machines from today has been raised to Rs 10,000 from Rs 4,500 by The Reserve Bank Of India. However the weekly withdrawal limit remains same at Rs 24,000 per week.

The withdrawal limit from current accounts has been extended from Rs 50,000 to Rs 100,000 per week. These relaxations will be in effect from Monday midnight.

Following the demonetisation of old Rs 500/1000 notes on November 8, limits had been imposed on withdrawal of cash from banks and ATMs.

Earlier, the RBI raised the daily ATM cash withdrawal limit from Rs 2,500 ( the rate fixed post note ban) to Rs 4,500 a day from January 1.
