We have to be patient until “Avatar 2” can be seen in the cinemas, but now a new picture from the world of Pandora has been published.
It’s been more than a decade since “ Avatar: The Departure to Pandora ” was shown in theaters, but in 2022 the sci-fi story of James Cameron is back. With ” Avatar 2 ” we will return to Pandora, but this time it is the turn of the underwater world. Again and again we get new pictures that give us a foretaste of the sequel. Producer Jon Landau has now shared another photo with the community.
You can see a concept image of the village of Metkayina by the artist Jonathan Bach. The illustration shows us some Na’vi in huts that are located above the sea. Possibly this could already be the sea people who will be seen in “Avatar 2”. The Metkayina are a rather unknown Na’vi people and are led by a certain Tonowari. Landau also noted that this would be just one picture of many other concept drawings. We may receive more photos in the future that will tell us more.
“Avatar 2” shows us the marine world of Pandora
With the freshly shared picture we get a small but new insight into “Avatar 2” and what we could ultimately expect. The marine world of Pandora will be a big topic in the sequel and earlier concept images already presented us with the beautiful coastlines and numerous islands that will be seen. Various underwater vehicles are also to be used and if anyone is familiar with it, then it is James Cameron, who is known to have a fascination for the deep sea.
In addition to the breathtaking marine world of Pandora, the “Avatar” fans are excited to see how the story will continue. Not much is known about the plot so far. At least Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana are there again, who apparently seek refuge with their children in the underwater world of the Na’vi. It is possible that a new conflict is looming between nature and humans. Hopefully we will get more news and at some point a trailer that will give us more information about the history of “Avatar 2”.
