Baahubali 2 has nailed the economics of Film industry. Yes, as expected the film has become the first Indian movie to cross 100 crore nett in a day. Baahubali 2 (Hindi Version) has made over over Rs 55 crore on an opening day. Film’s producer Karan Johar wrote on Twitter: “UNTHINKABLE and UNIMAGINABLE HIGHEST EVER DAY 1….data being tabulated ..will take a while!!! Watch this space for the number! #Baahubali.”

Baahubali 2 has collected $2.625 Million across languages in the US on Thursday beating Fast and the Furious 8 to become the no 1 at USA Box Office. At Karnataka Box Office, The movie is estimated to gross between Rs 14 to 17 crores on its first day of its release. In Telangana/Andhra Pradesh, the film has collected approximately 45 crores. In Tamil Nadu and Kerela, the film has grossed 18 crores (combined).

Theatrical Rights (Telugu): Rs 130 crore
Theatrical Rights (Kerala): Rs 8 crore

Satellite Sales (Tamil +Telugu+ Malayalam): Rs 25-30 crore
Theatrical rights (Hindi): Rs 65 crore
