Baba Ramdev, the Yog Guru is now a household name all thanks to his Patanjali branded products. It is one of India’s most trusted FMCG brands. It seems he is in no mood to set on this only that’s why he stepped into the telecom sector yesterday.
He launched ‘Swadeshi Samriddhi’ SIM card in partnership with BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited). Baba Ramdev said government-owned BSNL is a “Swadeshi network” and both the Patanjali and BSNL is working in the same direction, i.e the welfare of the country. He said,
“There are five lakh counters of BSNL and from there people can soon get Patanjali Swadeshi Samriddhi card.”
With the recharge of Rs 144, the user will get the privilege of making unlimited calls across the country along with 2 GB data and 100 SMS. Reportedly, in the beginning, only Patanjali employees will be able to avail the benefits of the SIM card. However, after its full-fledged launch in the country over the coming time, ordinary citizens will be able to get discount of 10 percent on Patanjali products with the Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM card.
The perks are many, apart from telecom service and Patanjali product discounts, users will also get health, accidental and life insurance on the Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM card.
