The Barbenheimer fever is immense across the globe. Since both the films have been equally doing well at the box, it will be quite a task to come to a conclusion about the best performing one. Both the films have been equally loved by the audience and the collection is ramping up like fire. As of now Oppenheimer is roaring at the Indian box office however in the international arena Barbie have been impressively performing well amongst the audience. It has dominated over the other in about 70 international territories.

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Barbie had minted $70 million on its opening day in the US. It also includes $22 million from Thursday. It can possibly gather $150 million in the US by this weekend and another $120 million from the assorted 70 worldwide territories.
If this turns to be true then Barbie will be the biggest ever film for this year surpassing Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One. The film minted $235 million in the first weekend.

Deadline quoted that Oppenheimer is intending to make $165 million worldwide by this week, of which $88.9 million can be retracted from the global space. It will be then Nolan’s third highest-grossing opening weekend after The Dark Knight Rises ($131M) and The Dark Knight ($94M). It had collected ₹31 crore in the initial two days and Barbie minted ₹11.5 crore so far.

“The movie industry has a very healthy record of accommodating two big pictures,” averred David Gross of Franchise Entertainment Research. “The studios are very experienced and they don’t step on each other,” he added, noting that both movies generally attract different audiences. “Oppenheimer would be more male-oriented and older, and Barbie will be more female-oriented and younger,” David mentioned in conversation with AFP. “But I think everybody is going to both, and it’s a fit.”
