Bollywood actress Vidya Balan who earlier won the hearts of the audience by her acting skills in “Shakuntala Devi”. Has now been approached for her next biopic on Indian weightlifter Karnam Malleswari.
It seems that Vidya Balan has become ‘Queen of Biopics’. As she delivered the toughest of characters gracefully on the big screen. The actress who was last seen in the biopic of Shakuntala Devi and played the role of a lady who was also known as the “human computer” won the heart of the audience. She is now been approached for another biopic based on Olympic weightlifter Karnam Malleswari. According to our sources, the makers of Karnam Malleswari biopic are quite keen to feature Vidya Balan into the film.
Talking to Pinkvilla they said “We have not approached anyone except Vidya Balan for the role and have already sent her synopsis for the film. She has shown interest but is yet to give final confirmation on it. We think Vidya is apt for this role.” However Earlier there were speculations Rakul Preet Singh and Nithya Menon have been approached to play the lead role in the film.
About Indian weightlifter Karnam Malleswari
