Bappi Lahiri, the famous music composer, and singer shocked every after he passed away at the age of 69. Here’s the reason for his death that you need to know.
It is undoubtedly really sad news for all the fans of Bappi Lahiri. As the singer left for heavenly abode on Tuesday. He was the one who made disco music popular in India during the 80s and 90s and was the legend of disco in Bollywood. After his demise, there was a note from his family members that read “It’s a deeply sad moment for us. Our beloved Bappi Da has left for heavenly abode last midnight. The cremation will take on the arrival of Bappa From LA tomorrow mid-morning. We are seeking love and blessings for his soul.” According to the reports, the cremation and the last rites will be done after his son Bappa will arrive in India from the USA.
Bappi Lahiri Cause of death
Bappi Lahiri died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) and confirming the same Dr. Deepak Namjoshi who is the director of Criticare hospital said “He had been admitted to the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday. But his health deteriorated on Tuesday and his family called for a doctor to visit their home. He was brought to the hospital. He had multiple health issues. He died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) shortly before midnight,”
After his demise, several Bollywood biggies like Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan took to their social media platforms and tweeted: “Today we lost another gem from the music industry. Bappi Da, your voice was the reason for millions to dance, including me. Thank you for all the happiness you brought through your music. My heartfelt condolences to the family. Om Shanti.” while Ajay Devgn tweeted: “Bappi Da was so endearing in person. But his music had an edge. He introduced a more contemporary style to Hindi film music with Chalte Chalte, Suraksha, and Disco Dancer Shanti Dada. You will be missed.”
Bappi Lahiri was a figure who was known with the trademark of gold chains, which he wore for luck. And of course, his sunglasses, in which he was always spotted several times. He delivered several songs like Chalte Chalte’, ‘Disco Dancer’, and ‘Sharaabi’. And was the one who brought the popularity of disco music to Bollywood. His last song was from the 2020 film ‘Baaghi 3’. Also, he appeared last with Salman Khan in the weekend episodes of Bigg Boss 15.
