What Is Dengue ?
Dengue is a viral infection transmitted by the bite of an infected female Aedes mosquito, also known as Aedes aegypti and Yellow fever mosquito. Not only dengue it can also spread – Zika virus, Chikungunya, and other diseases. You can recognize the mosquito by the white markings on its legs, this mosquito originated in Africa.
How Dengue Happens ? Causes ?
When a mosquito bites a person with Dengue virus it gets infected and when the same mosquito bites another person the infection then enters the person. This is a cycle which keeps in repeating.
What Is The Time When A Dengue Infected Mosquito bites
Normally a dengue-infected mosquito bites during the day, the mosquito is most effective during daylight for approximately two hours after sunrise and several hours before sunset.

Usually, after the bite from the infected mosquito, the fever starts showing results after a week or 10 days. The symptoms of Dengue Fever are –

The most affected area by Dengue infection from 2010 to 2016 so far has been registered to Chandigarh with 15,867 Dengue fever cases in 2015. And 487 in 2016 till August 30th.
Maximum Deaths By Dengue Fever From 2010 – 2016
In India from 2010 to 2016 the maximum number of deaths has been registered to Tamil Nadu with 66 deaths. And in 2016 so far West Bengal has registered with 22 deaths.
Treatment Of Dengue
There is no definite treatment of Dengue, it is a self-limited disease. There is no antiviral treatment available for dengue.
The care should be done with Analgesics ( Painkiller ) Paracetamol is recommended Aspirin should be avoided, Fluid replacement – What is a Body fluid ? – Liquid originating from the body. Fluid replacement – By sweating your body.
By drinking ORS regularly, Intravenous Therapy ( in which the fluid will be directly transmitted to your veins ) and Murphy Dip.
