But this is true! A veteran actress named Begum Para popped out everyone’s eye that time by her bold photoshoot.
While wearing white saree and smoking a cigarette she gave ultra bold poses that she became popular with the names Bollywood’s First Bombshell and Pin Up Girl.
Her photos were clicked by that time’s famous photographer James Burke. Begum Para was an Indian Hindi film actress who was active mostly in the 1940s and 1950s.
In her times in the 1950s, she was considered a glamour girl of Bollywood, so much so, that Life magazine had a special session with her devoted to her fine sensuous photographs.
She was married to Dilip Kumar’s younger brother Nasir Khan and had 3 children including actor Ayub Khan. She died in her sleep on 9 December 2008 at the age of 81.
