One such classic television programme whose allure never goes away is Friends.The world of Friends will never be the same with the departure of one of the show’s most popular cast members, Matthew Perry, today.
Perry is now one of the Friends actors that has passed away, along with veteran actor Ron Liebman, who portrayed Dr Leonard Green, also known as Rachel’s father, and James Michael Tyler, who is best known for playing Gunther.

Matthew Perry, the star of Friends, is no more. Perry’s caustic portrayal of Chandler Bing caused millions of people to burst out laughing.
Perry was discovered unconscious in his Los Angeles home’s hot pool on October 28. “We responded at 4:10 pm… It is a death investigation for a male in his 50s,” a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman mentioned AFP.
Mike Hagerty (Mr Treeger)
On May 5, 2022, Friends actor Mike Hagerty, who portrayed Mr. Treeger, passed away. He was sixty-seven. Hagerty’s persona served as the building’s custodian during the group’s previous residence.
He made several appearances in the renowned programme, providing comedic relief during his little on-screen time. He makes some of his most memorable cameos in episodes where Joey teaches him how to dance and when he makes fun of Rachel.
James Michael Tyler (Gunther)
On October 24, 2021, actor James Michael Tyler, who portrayed Gunther on the popular TV comedy Friends, passed away at the age of 59.
The actor lost his battle with cancer after a protracted illness.Despite having less screen time than the other six performers in the sitcom, Tyler succeeded in making Gunther a memorable character.
Gunther appeared in the episode as the manager and waiter of Central Perk, a coffee shop. Throughout the entire season, he was infatuated with Jennifer Aniston’s character, Rachel.

Leonard Green, Rachel’s father! Actor Ron Leibman, winner of many Emmys and Tony Awards, solidified his reputation as Rachel’s father among Friends viewers by working on numerous well-known productions over his career. 2019 saw his passing following a battle with pneumonia.
