Beyonce has made a triumphant stage comeback after a seven-year absence. She officially began her Renaissance World Tour on Wednesday in Stockholm, Sweden, featuring a 36-song set list. Her critically praised seventh studio album, which dropped last year, is the major inspiration for the tour. She made certain that she provided her fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience on this, her ninth performance tour.
The American singer-songwriter opened her set with songs like “Dangerously in Love,” “Flaws and All,” and “1+1,” none of which are from the Renaissance.
During her performance of the song Flaws and All, the singer got emotional and said, “You could have been anywhere in the world tonight but you choose to be here with me. And I love you, and I’m so filled with gratitude. I thank you.”
I Care, Cosy, Alien Superstar, Cuff It, Energy, Formation, Diva, Run the World (Girls), Black Parade, Savage, Partition, Church Girl, Break My Soul, Virgo’s Groove, and Crazy in Love were among the songs the singer performed next.
Beyonce wore a number of striking and sparkling dresses while performing. She performed wearing a custom-made dazzling silver catsuit by Alexander McQueen, which was one of the most notable items. She also posed wearing a metallic sheen tie-dye little dress, a bodysuit embellished with pearls by Balmain, a silver bedazzled bodysuit paired with white thigh-high boots, and a golden, sleeveless catsuit designed by Jonathan Anderson.
In a society when people frequently want rapid pleasure, the 41-year-old celebrity took her time in publishing any Renaissance music videos.
Big Freedia who made an exclusive appearance said in a voice over, “You’ve asked for the visuals. You’ve called for the queen. “But the queen moves at her own pace, bitch. The queen decides when she wants to give you a fucking taste — so get your fork and your spoon.”
