The leader of Shiv Sena, Dr. Manisha Kayande has called for urgent action against the makers of Bigg Boss OTT 3. This comes after a video of contestants Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik, who are husband and wife, went viral. The video shows them in an intimate moment, which has caused a lot of stir and controversies on the internet.
According to Dr. Manisha Kayande, the content shown should not be aired on TV as it is quite inappropriate. Taking her concerns to Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar, She has asked for the show to be stopped immediately. She highlighted how the episode that aired on July 18 showed Armaan and Kritika Malik appearing to share an intimate moment under a blanket. She strongly criticized the couple and the show’s producers for what she described as ‘vulgar’ content.
Dr. Kayande said, that the show is going on and also the vulgarity is going on. Even children watch this show, and it can negatively affect them. “The couple ignored all boundaries of human relationships and social norms. The show should be stopped, and a case should be filed against the producers and the CEO of the company that airs it. Bigg Boss is no longer a family show. Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik have crossed all limits.”
Kayande is pushing for immediate and strong actions against the producers of Bigg Boss OTT 3 and the CEO of the broadcasting company. She has asked the Police Commissioner to investigate how the video spread on social media. And to take legal action against everyone involved under cybercrime laws. In addition to this, Dr. Kayande plans to meet with the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting. She wants to suggest that OTT content should be regulated and put under censorship rules.
