The co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates again tops the list of world’s richest man issued by Forbes. He bags this first position consecutively for the fourth time with an estimated wealth of $86 billion.
On the other hand, president of America Donald Trump slips from the 220th position to 544 in this list. After Bill Gates, the second position is occupied by the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffett.
In the top 10 list, the founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos is at third, founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg is at 5 and Oracle’s co-founder Larry Ellison is at 7. Forbes said the global population of billionaires jumped 13 percent from last year to a record 2,043, the biggest annual increase in the 31 years since the magazine began compiling the list. The number of billionaires in this list include 565 from the USA, 319 from China and 114 from Germany.
Talking about India, the list has included 101 Indian billionaires, out of these 13 are newcomers. If talking about top 5 Indian entries, then Mukesh Ambani with an estimated wealth of $23.2 billion tops the list. But in the Forbes overall list, he is at 33rd position. Followed by Mukesh Ambani, Lakshmi Mittal is at 56th position with $16.4 billion. Azim Premji is at 72nd, Dilip Sanghvi is at 84th and Shiv Nadar is at the 102nd position.
