BJP MLA Akash Vijayvargiya is making headlines for all wrong reasons. The Member of Parliament from Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, Akash has been arrested by Police and a case has been registered against him and 10 others for thrashing a Municipal Corporation officer. Akash is the son of senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya.
A video has emerged online in which Akash can be seen assaulting a municipal corporation officer with a cricket bat after an argument broke out between the two. the issue erupted over a demolition drive in Ganji compound area.
The sources told the media that, Akash along with the locals was protesting about sealing drive in the area and even warned the Municipal staff of dire consequences if they don’t leave the spot.
The argument between both the parties heated up and turned ugly when Akash brought a bat and started hitting and abusing an officer who was busy talking over his mobile phone even in the presence of police personnel. Later, the police arrested Akash. He represents Indore-3 Assembly Segment.
