Post Praising Pakistan Army Led To The Shut Down Of Kashmiri Trader’s Shop In Mussoorie By BJP Wing, Hindu Jagran Manch

The war between What is National and What is Anti-National is going tough day by day. In a recent incident, some members of the Hindu Jagran Manch and BJP youth wing vigorously shut down a Kashmiri garment trader’s shop in Mussoorie after the Facebook post praising Pakistan army goes viral.

59-year-old Manzoor Ahmad from Hamhama in Kashmir’s Budgam district had posted a video on his official Facebook account, praising the Pakistan army.

According to The Indian Express, the president of the BJP youth wing in Mussoorie, Dharampal Singh Panwar, said: “After getting his (Ahmad’s) shop closed, we and the local traders’ body (the Mussoorie Traders & Welfare Association) went to the police station to file a complaint against him.”

Meanwhile, Mussoorie police station SHO Rajeev Ruthann said that the trader Ahmed himself had filed a complaint about his Facebook account being hacked. Moreover, the anti-national post had now been removed from his account.

The president of the traders’ body (the Mussoorie Traders & Welfare Association), Rajat Aggarwal said that after Pakistan’s victory over India in the final of the Champions Trophy, some Muslim boys were seen shouting slogans of Pakistan Zindabad. According to some BJP leaders and local traders, Kashmiri traders provoked them to do so.

Therefore, the trader’s body has given the deadline to the Kashmiri traders to leave the town by February 28, 2018. But, Ahmad and some others are allowed to stay.

Panwar said: “We want the new Kashmiri traders to leave Mussoorie by February-end (next year). On Thursday, we shall give a memorandum to the Mussoorie SDMn this.”
