Shahrukh Khan’s Cousin Noor Jahan is no more. She took her last breath on Tuesday in Peshawar, Pakistan.

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s cousin sister Noor Jahan died in Pakistan. As per the reports Noor Jehan was 52 and she used to live in Peshawar’s Mohallah Shah Wali Qataal which is close to Qissa Khwani Bazaar. It is being told that Noor Jahan had been ill for a long time. Noor Jahan’s husband Asif Burhan told that she was fighting a battle against oral cancer. Noor was politically active. She had been a district and city counselor in Pakistan. Not only this, but she had also filed nomination from PK-77 in the general elections held in Pakistan in 2018, though later withdrew his name from the elections.
According to reports, Noor Jahan’s husband Asif told that Shah Rukh Khan’s father and Jahan’s father were brothers and she used to talk to her cousin brother often on the phone. Noor visited India twice in 1997 and 2011 to meet Shahrukh Khan. She first came to India with her husband. As a kid, Shah Rukh Khan too has gone to Peshawar with his family members. Shahrukh Khan and Noor Jahan’s family have a very good relationship.
Since the news of Noor Jahan’s death has been published in Pakistani media houses. Many people have expressed grief on the death of Noor Jahan on social sites. However, no tweet or statement has come from Shah Rukh Khan regarding the death of the cousin.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh will be doing a Rajkumar Hirani film and also a film with Raj and DK. However, nothing is yet confirmed.
