From Sholay to PK, Bollywood Films Whose Climax Was Changed Due To This Reason

There are many films in Bollywood whose endings are not that intriguing as expected. We think like that it could have a much better ending. However, do you know there are some films whose climax was made different from what we watched? Means these endings became the part of these scripts later. Check out the list to know:

1) Aankhen

The film released in 2002, Aankhen had stars like Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Amitabh Bachchan, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen in the main leads. At the end of the film, Amitabh Bachchan goes to prison after being convicted and Akshay – Arjun takes care of Rahul (Sushmita Sen’s younger brother). But the end of the film was written in some other way. In which Amitabh escapes from the police by offering them a bribe and goes to the station (where Akshay-Arjuna is waiting for the train). Seeing both, Amitabh says that the game will start now, after which Akshay-Arjun take out their guns and head towards Amitabh. But the end of this film was also changed according to the Indian audience.

2) PK

The end of Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer film PK was not the same as in the film. At the end of the film, it was shown that Aamir Kan returned to Earth again with Ranbir. It was just changed to please the audience.

3) Delhi 6

The end of Delhi 6 was also changed according to the mindset of the audience. Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor were in the lead roles in this film. In the film, at the end, Abhishek Bachchan survived. But earlier director Rakesh Omprakash Mehra decided to end the film with Abhishek’s death.

4) Pink

In the year 2016, the courtroom drama movie ‘Pink’ had forced everyone to think about the dark reality of the women in society. At the end of the film, it was shown that girls finally get justice and the accused gets punishment. But according to Tapsi Pannu, the end of the film was firstly made different in which girls did not get justice. But in order to make the movie more positive, the end got changed.

5) Sholay

In 1975, Ramesh Sippy-directed film ‘Sholay’ was released. In the film, Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan and Sanjeev Kumar and Amzad Khan were in lead roles. In the film, we saw in the end that Gabbar is finally lost in the film from two of the actors and handed over to the police. But previously it was written in the end that Thakur kills Gabbar brutally. But due to the censor board, Sippy had to change the script.
