Bomb Claimed At White House In A Car

According to the reports from CNN, The Secret Service of the US detained a man who drove up to a White House checkpoint and claimed to have a bomb in his car. There was no confirmation whether there was any explodable device in the car but the security was immediately raised.

The incident occurred on Saturday night at around 11:05 p.m. At the time of the incident, President Donald Trump was at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, where he spends most of his weekends.

Also in 2014, while Barack Obama was President, an army veteran described as mentally disturbed made it into the White House grounds and was later arrested.

The White House is the official residence and principal workplace of the President of the United States, located at 1600 Pennsylvania in Washington, D.C. The White House Complex is protected by the United States Secret Service and the United States Park Police.
