This man makes you laugh every time you switch on a South Indian film. he is the famous comedian actor of the South film industry Brahmanandam Kanneganti. He has worked in more than 1000 South Indian films. He has done comic-centric roles mainly. His demand is very high in the South Indian cinema. He has also Guinness Book World Record for working in maximum films.
He was honored with the Padma Shri, for his contribution to Indian cinema in 2009. Brahmanandam is regarded as one of the finest comic actors of India, noted particularly for his comic expressions. The 62 years old actor was born 1 February 1956 to a lower-middle-class family. Their financial condition was not that good.
Luckily a director once saw him acting in a play, so he decided to give him a small role in his film. This is how his acting career in South Indian cinema started. So this was all about Brahmanandam! But do you know about his son? He is a superstar of the South film industry.
He is son is none other than the actor Raja Goutham. He made his debut in Tollywood with film “Pallakilo Pellikoothuru”. The film didn’t give a positive result at the box office but earned the hearts of the audience and was a musical hit. Later on he acted in a film Vaareva in 2011 which was also a flop.
Later Goutham was seen in director Chaitanya Dantuluri’s film “Basanti”. It featured actress Alisha Baig as female lead. In this film Goutham was seen in the lead role as Arjun. The great music director Mani Sharma has composed music for the movie which was released in 2014.
Now Raja Goutham is doing a film with Director Phanindra Narsetti. His next project ‘Manu’ is a one of its kind crowdfunded indie project in Tollywood.
