If you have annoying little siblings that you secretly love with all your heart and would do anything for, this emotional story of British Olympic runners Alistair and Jonny Brownlee is going to make your heart feel very cosy and will surely give you some very strong feels. Alistair, 28, and his little bro, 26, have both won their fair share of Olympic medals and they were neck-in-neck as they competed against each other at Sunday’s World Triathlon Series in Mexico. Jonny was in first place and Alistair behind in second. Everything was going fine until Jonny started to become disoriented and there were clear signs of overheating.
When Alistair saw his bro stumble, he made a split-second decision to help. In a true show of brotherly love, he threw Jonny’s arm over his shoulder and carried him to the finish line. At the final moment, he pushed Jonny in front of him at the finish line, landing Jonny in second place and himself in third. Check out this very emotional and goose bumping video –
The Brownlees are truly the perfect representation of siblings: They’ll drop everything and help you when you need it most – and then never let you live it down. We would love to have your reviews in the comment section below!
