In the film by director James Gunn , we again see a motley company of supervillains with varying strengths and skills. The main four members appear Colonel Rick Flag ( Joel Kinnaman ), Harley Quinn ( Margot Robbie ), Bloodsport ( Idris Elba ) and Peacemaker ( John Cena ).

The Suicide Squad is the next upcoming film in the DC Extended Universe and will be released in theaters in early August. In January 2022, the spin-off series Peacemaker with John Cena will start on HBO Max .
