For several members of BTS, a new chapter is set to start as they prepare for their mandated military service in South Korea. Throughout the year, V, RM, Jungkook, and Jimin have been in the news due to their impending enlistment. Right now, all the attention is on Kim Taehyung, sometimes referred to as V, who is said to be joining the Army’s Capital Defense Command’s Special Task Force (STF).

BIGHIT MUSIC’s management has not yet confirmed the specifics of Taehyung’s enlistment, but according to Dispatch, he is anticipated to report for basic military training at the Nonsan Training Center on December 11 in order to begin his STF duties.
Under the direction of the ROK President, the STF carries out crucial operations like special operations, hostage rescues, counterterrorism, and counterinsurgency missions, among other dangerous assignments like VIP security.

The oldest member of BTS, Jin, is already employed as an assistant trainer at the Army’s 5th Infantry Division boot camp, and there are also several reports that Jimin and Jungkook are getting ready to enlist. According to rumors, Jimin and Jungkook will both start basic training on December 12.

While J-hope is presently employed as an assistant instructor at the New Recruit Training Center in Wonju, Gangwon province, SUGA started his required public service in September.
