Confederation of All India Traders(CAIT) appealed Bollywood and sports celebrities to stop endorsing Chinese brands
Due to the Coronavirus, the image of China has already worsened across the world. And now due to deteriorating conditions between India and China on the border, there is opposition to Chinese goods and Chinese services across the country. The traders have written an open letter to Bollywood celebrities, appealing for not promoting Chinese goods.
In this open letter addressed on the 18th June, there is a request to join the Boycott campaign for Chinese goods and services. CAIT(Confederation of All India Traders ) has appealed to Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Shilpa Shetty, Shraddha Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Virat Kohli not to advertise Chinese products. CAIT has also appealed to Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sachin Tendulkar, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni to join this campaign.
Actress Katrina Kaif also appealed these artists to join the national interest in the campaign of the boycott of Chinese goods and support in “Indian goods – our pride”.Currently, there is fierce opposition to the use of Chinese products and Chinese mobile applications on social media and people are trending hashtags like Boycott Chinese products. Let us tell you that recently, 20 soldiers of the Indian Army were martyred in the conflict with the Chinese Army. Since then, there is anger in this action of the Chinese Army all over the country. People are opposing not only Chinese products but also their services.
While ago the Chinese mobile application Tik Tok was strongly opposed on Twitter, after which the rating of Tik Talk on the Google Play Store fell significantly.
