Ekta Kapoor’s OOT platform ALTBalaji’s web series’ Fixer’s actress and the cast and crew were allegedly attacked by drunken goons while shooting. This horrific incident took place when the team members were shooting near Ghodbunder Road in Mumbai.
Bollywood director Tigmanshu Dhulia who is also the part of the cast took to Twitter to share a video, in this video, the show’s producer Sakett Saawhney and actor Mahie Gill alleged they were beaten up by drunk goons.
Sakett said that while shooting since 7 am and around 4.30 pm, some four people barged in, drunk, with sticks and rods in their hands. They attacked everyone from the cast and crew and manhandled.
Actress Mahie Gill who is a popular Bollywood and Punjabi actress said men also came to attack her and to save herself she ran towards her car and saw that the goons were “hitting people like animals”. She said police was also encouraging them. Police shut the compound door, didn’t let the crew collect their belongings and demanded money.
This is insane and horrific. However, when the case got highlighted police came in action and arrested three people in the case. According to police, the arrested accused work as spot selection agents. The accused have been identified as Krishna Sonar, Sonu Das and Suresh Sharma.
