Karan Johar also shared Chandrachur’s refusal story during the Zee TV show. Karan had told that three actors had refused to do the film even before him. Chandrachur called Karan the next day to tell him about his script. Karan went to the Seven Bungalows from Malabar to describe the script but Chandrachur refused before hearing the script. In the talk show, Karan had expressed his displeasure that if he had to refuse, he would have said it to me on the call, why he wasted my 2 hours.
