Even though it has been a few months since the first episode of Vishal Bhardwaj’s new murder mystery series Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley debuted on SonyLIV, the first teaser is now available. The first episode’s somewhat low-key release left fans eager for more of this murder mystery in the vein of Agatha Christie, and now the trailer has teased some further hints.
Based on Agatha Christie’s The Sittaford Mystery, the programme follows Wamiqa Gabbi’s Charlie as she attempts to investigate the murder of Gulshan Grover’s character while her lover, Vivaan Shah, is falsely accused of the crime. Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Neena Gupta, Imaad Shah, Lara Dutta, and Priyanshu Painyuli are just a few of the show’s impressive cast members.
Charlie Chopra was introduced in the pilot episode of Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley as a detective with a reputation for cracking cases that range from the trivial to those that have the power to alter people’s lives. Wamiqa, who portrays the title role in this episode, most recently appeared as Nilofer in Jubilee on Amazon Prime Video. Wamiqa’s performance in the series received a lot of positive feedback.
