Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will launch the Xiaomi’s first India-manufactured phone in Visakhapatnam today under the ‘Make in India, Made in ANdhra Pradesh Programme’.
Xiaomi is a Chinese low-cost smartphone-manufacturer which is the third largest smartphone-maker in the world, after Samsung and Apple. Xiaomi will launch its first India-made smartphone in Visakhapatnam after chief Minister, Naidu’s visit to China earlier this year. An Important announcement about Chinese manufacturer’s expansion in India will also be made on monday. Xiaomi is looking to expand its presence and increase its market share in the country.
After, Gionee, Asus and Motorola, Xiaomi will become another firm to increase its market in india through e-commerce giants like flipkart.
