Meanwhile, people queued up at the snacks corner beside the pedestrian streets in Qianmen, to relish the snacks from barbecue and New Year rice cakes. Children wore Chinese rabbit hats and held blown sugar or marshmallows formed in the shape of rabbits.

In Hong Kong, travelers jammed up the city’s largest Taoist temple, Wong Tai Sin, with the first incense sticks of the year which was earlier restricted due to the pandemic clause.
Mass celebrations
Streets have been illuminated with lanterns, and lights. The age-old parade could also be spotted on the streets, while the men posed as dragons to upkeep the level of entertainment for the spectators on the streets.
