The election corridors are all heated up due to on-going general Lok Sabha elections. Rahul Gandhi, the Congress President is know for creating controversies with his words and actions. After the ‘hug and wink’ episode now he made a remark ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ at a rally and gets mired in a big controversy.

For his remark, the Supreme Court has issued a notice to Rahul Gandhi after BJP filed a petition against him. The party filed this petition on the Rafale controversy and has also asked him to explain his ‘chowkidar chor hai’ remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Actually, Rahul Gandhi had claimed a moral victory and said the court has made it clear that Prime Minister Narendra Modi “committed theft”. After the Supreme Court announced its decision to allow leaked Rafale documents to review a previous judgment.
A BJP delegation, including defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman, reached the Election Commission demanding to take a strict action against Rahul Gandhi over his remark against Modi on Rafale deal.
