The state of Uttarakhand is once again in danger as recently a cloudburst has hit the state. The death tolls are from several districts of the state and are constantly increasing due to heavy rains in Chamoli and Pithoragarh.

Reports say that NDRF teams are already deployed to the flooded area and proper help will be provided to the state. “NDRF teams rushed to the areas affected by could burst in Uttarakhand. Additional teams of NDRF are also put on alert,” said Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh.

The condition of people is really very bad in those flooded areas and the means of their livelihood has also been affected. The information further says that due to this harshest condition of weather, even two houses in the Ghats of Chamoli district straightly washed away in the Mandakini river.
Chamoli remains in the least expected areas of Uttarakhand to escape the flood as the water level in Alaknanda river, which is near to the district has already crossed the danger level.
Moreover, the Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway (NH-58) is also blocked due to the same reason and landslide near Devprayag. The death toll has increased to 30 and many people are still injured.
There are also reports of many people going missing in the Bastadi village for which, CM Rawat has asked the officials to camp in the affected areas and ensure that no more mishappening take place in the area.
In the last 12 hours, US Nagar, Nainital, Champawat, Dehradun, Almora, Tehri, Uttarkashi and Haridwar have received heavy downpour but helicopter support is also asked for the state.
