Ditching the lavish celebrations and grand party on the special occasion of their wedding, a couple donated hospital beds and oxygen cylinders to a rural COVID-19 care centre in a heartwarming gesture.

28-year-old Eric Anton Lobo and 27-year-old Merlin gave up on the traditional Christian wedding surrounded by over 2000 guests, plenty of wine and amazing food according to The Quint.
According to the reports, the couple limited their guest list to 22 people only. They ensured that everyone put up their face masks and maintained an appropriate physical distance from each other.

Instead of spending their funds for a lavish party, the duo utilized their resources in a marvellous way. Their step is being praised all over social media to think about the people who are currently in trouble and struggling with the coronavirus pandemic.

After their wedding, the duo headed to COVID care centre in Satpala village and officially inaugurated the utilities. In a discussion with Hindustan Times, the groom said, “We wanted to share our joy with our fellow Vasai residents by helping provide better care for patients in hospitals.“
Giving us some major couple goals, we wish the duo a great life and success in their upcoming time.
