Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter, has said that he would resume his career after taking time off to enjoy parenthood. In April, he and his partner Erin Darke welcomed a newborn son into the world. The pair has now been concentrating on their new parental responsibilities. Radcliffe’s admirers will, however, be overjoyed to hear that he has immediate plans to return to the big screen.
While Radcliffe’s forthcoming projects’ specifics are still a secret, he said in an interview that his return to the workforce would occur “later this year.” Fans who have been waiting impatiently for his upcoming on-screen presence are thrilled by the possibility.
“The fact that there is a creature in the world that can give you the worst night of your life, and then you wake up in the morning, go over to them, and they turn around and smile, and you’re like, I don’t care about any of the things you just did. That’s pretty cool,” Radcliffe elucidated by highlighting the role of absolute parenthood.
Radcliffe often keeps his personal affairs hidden from the public. He emphasised his emotional attachment to his child and the inescapable desire he will feel once he goes to work.
“It hasn’t really yet affected things, but I really like spending time with him, and I think I’m gonna miss him when I go back to work later in the year,” Radcliffe mentioned in a conversation with Entertainment Tonight.
The actor also stated that he plans to be more picky about the parts he accepts, stressing the fact that he has always been choosy about the jobs he accepts. He will be able to enjoy being a father while still advancing his profession in the entertainment sector thanks to this careful strategy.
“So, I will definitely be a bit more selective… I’ve always been selective, but I think I’ll probably work a little bit less for the next few years. I’ll never be stopping. I don’t think that’s good for me either,” he wraps up.
