Eleven years after the Nithari Serial Killings, Moninder Pandher, Surinder Koli, convicted in the murders of innocent lives. Businessman Moninder Pandher and his servant Surinder Koli, the two accused in the 2006 Nithari case have been convicted. A trial court in Ghaziabad on Saturday found the duo guilty of rape, murder, abduction and criminal conspiracy in the case, one of the several murder charges the duo are facing.
Today, the court has announced the death sentence to both the accused with one of the 16 cases of murder and rape in Nithari, Noida. Ever since the news has come the family members of the victims are happy with the justice. The special judge of the CBI court Pawan Tiwari announced the sentence as,
“rarest of the rare” case. “There is no scope for their (the accused’s) reform or rehabilitation. This case falls under the category of rarest of rare and both deserve the death penalty,”
Out of 16 cases on Moninder Pandher and Surinder Koli, the, eight have been decided so far. The Ghaziabad court has awarded prime accused Surender Koli death sentence in each case.
