Deepika Padukone was summoned by the NCB after her drug chats revealed. But she will now continue shooting for Shakun Batra’s movie!

Deepika who was summoned by NCB in the drug nexus case will again resume her shooting for her upcoming movie by Shakun Batra. After being summoned by the agency for questioning she returned to Mumbai. But now she will jet off for Goa to begin her shooting.
According to the TOI reports. The actress who was filming the same in Goa, last month, took a pause from her shoot after her name was dragged in the drug nexus case. But now, she is all set to return to work. For Shakun Batra’s movie co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday alongside her. As per the sources when Deepika was being interrogated by NCB she stopped the shoot for the film, but the makers filmed the portions of Ananya and Siddhant in that duration. However, the Chhapaak actress is returning to set today.
Talking about Deepika’s drug nexus case. The actress faced interrogation by the NCB for around four hours. And her phone was also seized by the agency. But the news report said that the actress was given a clean chit by NCB after the first round of interrogation.
On the work front, She was last seen in the movie Chhapaak in which she played the role of an acid attack survivor, Malti. And now she is all prepped up for Shakun Batra’s next project. On the other hand, Padukone is also awaiting the release of her film 83′(sports drama) alongside her hubby Ranveer Singh. That is yet to be released.
