With this film, Deepika Padukone has made a significant mark in the film industry. She has now become the only Indian actress to have two films in the 1000 crore club in the post-pandemic era. Before her, only two other Indian actors had reached this milestone: Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. His favorite co-star, Deepika Padukone, played a significant role in this film, helping it achieve massive success. Pathaan grossed 1060.43 crores worldwide. After Pathan Deepika’s second film Kalki 2898 AD has also entered the 1000-crore club, reaching 1001.36 crores in just 24 days. In this film, Deepika stars alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and others.

Summing up both the films the actress has created history for being the only Indian actress with two films in the 1000 crore club. Some might argue that Jawan also made over 1000 crores, but since Deepika only had a cameo role in that film, it doesn’t count towards her record.
On a personal front, Deepika is lined up with several exciting projects including the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, Pathaan 2, and Singham Again. She is currently on maternity leave. And expecting her first child in September 2024 with Ranveer Singh.
