Actually, Deepika Padukone spoke openly about Ranveer Singh and his relationship during an interview in 2018. Deepika had told that she wanted only a casual relationship with Ranveer Singh. She said that she was scared to give any commitment. The reason for this was that Deepika had broken her heart many times before meeting Ranveer.
According to the report of Hindustan Times, Deepika had said, ‘I had been in relationships since the age of 13 and I never had a casual relationship with anyone. In such a situation, by the time I met Ranveer, I was very upset and bored of relationships. I just wanted to be alone at that time because I could not give a commitment to anyone.

In an interview, Deepika said, ‘I met Ranveer after one of my breakups in 2012, after that I was determined not to go into a serious relationship anymore.
