Deepika Padukone is one of the most beloved actresses of the Bollywood industry. We know her long journey in the cinema and the fame she earned for herself. But with fame there are some consequences too.
Actually this happened a few years ago when The Times of India (TOI), India’s biggest daily newspaper posted a video of Deepika’s cleavage. Showing Deepika in a dated overhead shot of her, zeroing in on a low-cut dress. They captioned it as “OMG, Deepika Padukone’s cleavage show.”
Deepika bravely took to twitter and slammed The Times Of India when the entire country was staring at her bosom. Deepika wrote, “YES! I am a woman, I have breasts AND a cleavage, you got a problem?.”
In her other tweet, she wrote, “Supposedly, India’s ‘LEADING’ newspaper and this is ‘NEWS’!!??”.
Coming in support of Deepika, actress Ileana D’cruz wrote, “Absolutely disgusting that this is what they choose to write about! Good on you for speaking up against this bullshit! Xxx.”
Reframing the old story, TOI second time did this when Deepika worn a low cut dress designed by Anaita Shroff Adajania for the trailer launch of ‘Chennai Express’. Even more from that their reply to the actress was very worse. TOI Entertainment replied, “@deepikapadukone, It’s a compliment! You look so great that we want to make sure everyone knew! :).”
