To let you know, this is Deepika’s first liplock scene after marriage. And it is creating a buzz because in India mostly after marriage, Bollywood actresses refuse to give such bold scenes. The actress will be seen playing the role of Malti an acid attack survivor in the film. The film is a biopic of a real-life acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

Laxmi was only 15 years old when she was attacked by 32 years old man. He had a one-sided attraction towards Laxmi and when she refused him, he threw acid on her face. Laxmi now runs an NGO that works for the acid attack survivors and is also a proud owner of a cafe which is managed by these survivors.
