After the unfortunate incident of seven people being killed in a chopper crash near the Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand, Bollywood celebrities took to their social media handle to express grief towards it. Meanwhile the investigation is under the process, the celebrities from b-town chose extend their condolence to the families of the victims.
Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter and wrote, “Sending my deepest condolences to the families of the people who lost their lives in the helicopter crash today.” Family Man actor Manoj Bajpayee wrote, “Extremely disheartened to hear about the unfortunate #helicoptercrash in #kedarnath today. My heart goes out to the victims’ families (praying hands emoji) #OmShanti.” “Deeply Saddened to hear about the Kedarnath Helicopter tragedy. My heart goes out to the families of the pilgrims and the pilot. Om shanti,” posted Sunny Deol.
“Saddened to hear about the #HelicopterCrash in Kedarnath which was carrying pilgrims to the temple. Heartfelt condolences to the victim families #Kedarnath,” shared Sarbjit fame actor Randeep Hooda. Vivek Oberoi added, “Praying for the departed souls and their families who lost their lives in the #HelicopterCrash in #Kedarnath today .. extremely unfortunate. #OmShanti.”
As of the reports, the chopper occupied six people who were off to the pilgrimage and the pilot was in which the route started from Kedarnath to the Phata helipad. On Tuesday, at around 11:45 am the mishap happened near the Dev Darshini in Garud Chatti after the chopper kicked off. According to a report by PTI, low visibility is the primary reason of the crash.
“Very sad news has been received about the casualties of some people in the unfortunate helicopter crash at Garuda Chatti near Kedarnath. The SDRF and district administration teams have reached the spot for relief and rescue work. A detailed inquiry has been ordered into this tragic incident,” wrote CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.
The PMO also expressed condolence and tweeted, “Anguished by the helicopter crash in Uttarakhand. In this tragic hour, my thoughts are with the bereaved families.”
