Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal’s brother-in-law is being investigated by Delhi Police on a complaint filed by an NGO.
Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police has ordered a preliminary enquiry against Chief Minister’s relative.
Kejriwal’s brother-in-law, Mr Surender Kumar bansal has been accused of submitting fake bills and invoices to the Public Works Department for a huge profit.
Civic Agency contracted Mr Bansal to build a drain. However, he was allegedly using dummy companies. The NGO, Road Anti-Corruption has alleged that Mr Kejriwal helped his relative.
An investigating officer has asked the complainant to come with documents so that they can be examined.
The NGO went to a court with its allegations on Saturday.
