Netflix recently made a revelation which left the OTT viewers excited. It has announced the third seasons of critically acclaimed and most loved shows including “Delhi Crime”, “Mismatched” and “Kota Factory”. The streamer will also bring shows like “Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives” and Imtiaz Ali-helmed “She”.
Netflix wrote, “Shway Shway! It’s time to refill your coffee cups because these favourites are coming back for a NEW SEASON with a whole lotta twists, crime and drama!”
“Delhi Crime“, protagonist character of a cop is played by Shefali Shah, which also bagged the first ever Emmy for India will be back for the next soon. It depicts the obstacles faced by the Delhi police while investigating cases inspired from both real and fictional events.
Based and helmed on Sandhya Menon’s 2017 novel “When Dimple Met Rishi”, “Mismatched” will be back with a fresh season starring Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf. It showcases a die-hard romantic boy Rishi (Saraf), who falls for the upright and diffident Dimple (Koli), a gamer, and the rest is yet to be discovered.
“Kota Factory“, helmed by Raghav Subbu, features the story of an IIT aspirant Vaibhav and his venture in the illustrious Maheshwari – one of Kota’s coveted training institutes, and thereby hustles between friendships, relationship and the hard life of an aspirant. The show features Jitendra Kumar, Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Ahsaas Channa, Revathi Pillai and Urvi Singh.
“Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives” shows the lives of four ‘Bollywood wives’ – Maheep Kapoor (wife of Sanjay Kapoor), Bhavana Pandey (wife of Chunky Panday), Seema Khan (wife of Sohail Khan) and Neelam Kothari (wife of Samir Soni). The show is backed by Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions.
“She“, conceptualized, written and helmed by filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, stars Aaditi Pohankar who acts as an undercover Mumbai constable to unfurl the dark underbellies of crime.
