There are reports that Delhi -NCR has recently experienced the tremors of an earthquake. The intensity of the earthquake has been 2.7 on the Richter scale.
According to the Meteorological Department, earthquake tremors were felt at 1.26 pm on Monday. Besides this, the tremors was also felt on Sunday. The epicenter of the earthquake was Delhi. But there is no news of damage to life or property. People were worried about the earthquake since it was experienced for the second consecutive day.
Let us tell you that on Sunday, earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR. At 5.45 pm, which was a 3.5 magnitude earthquake. People said that the tremors were strong, which made the people rush out from their residence. Since the earthquake was 3.5 on the Richter scale. Not only Delhi but its neighboring places like Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad also experienced the tremor. After the incident, Delhi wrote: ” Satya Narayan Pradhan the D.G of National disaster response force. Apart from this Delhi Chief Minister also Tweeted praying for the safety of citizens.
Yesterday, the epicenter of the earthquake was Wazirabad in Delhi and was 8 kilometers below the ground, whereas today the center was only 5 kilometers below. Experts say that if the epicenter of the earthquake is within 15-20 kilometers of the ground, then the intensity is also higher on the Richter scale and tremors are felt in a larger area.
