Boost in Tourism of Puerto Rico
Unfortunately, in May, Puerto Rico went bankrupt in order to reconstruct a $70 billion debt. The country was suffering from a major economic crisis and the government was failed to provide any kind of boost.
According to the billboard, the good news is that despite facing such a problem, the country’s economic condition is improving and the whole credit goes to none other than Despacito.
Since the song began to play worldwide (thanks to Justin Bieber for his remix version), there is an increase of 45% in tourism of the country. Places like La Perla shanty town and San Juan’s Club La Factoría are becoming worldwide famous because of the appearance in the song.
