This week the new version of Justice League from 2017 will be released. And it promises to be a completely different film than the one you might have seen on the silver screen or with your home theater. And this, of course, is Zack Snyder’s Justice League .
Director Zack Snyder spoke to The New York Times and compared his movie to the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“Obviously, I take these characters and their mythology really seriously. I want them to be realized the way these characters exist in that world. I don’t think it’s cool to have fun at the expense of them. vision, a complete universe, fully fleshed out, that we really wanted to create, “ Snyder explained.
“I knew it before BvS, when we made Man of Steel. Marvel is doing something different. They make, at the highest level, popular action comedies with a big heart. And they nailed that. Trying to duplicate that is madness because they are so good at it, ” said Snyder. “What DC had was epic mythology, and we were going to take them on an amazing journey. Apparently I was the only one who wanted that.”
Not taken the Marvel path
Snyder also indicates that he never thought about adding more “Marvel”. “I don’t know how to hit a ball other than to hit it. A director has one skill – his own point of view. That’s all you have. you are on slippery ice. “
