Sreenath is a coolie at Ernakulam Junction and earned his bread and butter with this job. He cleared the written test of Kerala Public Service Commission. Sreenath said that free WiFi gives him the opportunity to study while working, with no worry about fees and books and easy access to online examination forms. He also applied for other exams of the railway in Group D posts of Trackman, Cabinman, Gangman and others. He did hard work and smart work both.
Moreover, The WiFi service on railway station provides free internet to passengers. This is due to Digital India Initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Apart from this, Near about 700 railway stations have been equipped with WiFi technology across India, as of May 2018. Further, the Indian Railways setting a target of providing this facility at all 8,500 stations by March 2019 at a cost of Rs. 700 crore. We hope this will facilitate more students like Sreenath.
