Filmmaker Hansal Mehta tweeted at 9:30 pm and wrote, ‘And Hotstar has crashed.’ He further wrote in a tweet”Yes nearly midway through”. After his tweet, many other Hotstar users also tweeted the same thing. They said while watching Dil Bechara it buffered many times. Well, the reason behind this was not an internet issue but due to heavy traffic on the website.
A user named Shubham wrote, ‘I am a premiere member of Hotstar and have been struggling with the buffering problem in Disney and all the premiere content. I thought there was a problem with the Internet, but it is fast and accurate for other OTT platforms. But Hotstar is constantly buffering. Another user wrote “I think Disney Hotstar’s website has crashed or something. The movie is not playing. Maybe this is god’s way of keeping me away from heartbreak. it even hurt to watch him smile in those songs.”
