Phillauri film actor and Punjabi singing sensation Diljit Dosanjh took to social media to thanks his fans, producers and the Hindi film industry for the all the success he gained from his Bollywood films i.e Udta Punjab and Phillauri. He even asked for forgiveness for the mistakes he had made. The film has released this Friday and is getting a good response from the audience.
It has managed to earn around Rs 9. 22 crore in two days, as informed by Bollywood’s trade analyst Taran Adarsh. By abolishing the fact that nepotism exists in the industry, Dijit Dosanjh represents that many have acknowledged its existence. The actor-singer also said that the Bollywood gave him a chance, like several other outsiders too.
Diljit is already a superstar in the Punjabi film and music industry. He debuted in Bollywood with Anurag Kashyap’s film Udta Punjab released in 2016. He was given the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his role. His next film in line is Baadshaho.

Last but not the least I am highly grateful to every individual involved who has directly or indirectly contributed in my career, right from the beginning.
Also, asking for forgiveness if I have ever made any mistake during this journey.
