Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is now coming up with the true event film based on the COVID-19 Pandemic. The trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to announce the same.
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar as we all know is one of the ace directors of Bollywood who came up with the films like Fashion, Page 3, and Heroine. His projects are based on true events that dig out the harsh realities. And that’s not as easy as eating a piece of cake. He works hard and does extensive research into his projects. And makes sure that he brings up the stories that can be highlighted to the society. Adding to his projects now the director is bringing up a film based on the true event of the Covid pandemic that shook the entire nation.
His film is titled India Lockdown and the news was first broke by Trade analyst Taran Adarsh. He said that the casting for India Lockdown is underway and is expected to go on floors from January 2021. Taran took to his Twitter account and wrote “MADHUR BHANDARKAR ANNOUNCES NEXT FILM… IT’S OFFICIAL… #MadhurBhandarkar announces his next directorial venture… Titled #IndiaLockdown… Inspired by true events… Casting underway… Produced by Bhandarkar Entertainment and PJ Motion Pictures… Starts Jan 2021,” After hearing the name of the film anyone can make out that the film will showcase the lockdown which was imposed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. But the interesting thing will see how the director has represented it on screen.

Madhur has always been known for his film based on reality and no doubt that his films are absolutely worth watching. His last directorial stint was a political film named ‘Indu Sarkar’, which was based on the period between 1975 and 1977. The film starred Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher Kirti Kulhari, and Tota Roy Chowdhury.
